Beautiful new 2-story beach house built in 2006 with 5 car covered parking in the award wining Ocean Lakes Resort in Myrtle Beach. Gated family oriented community with 24 hour patrolling security-10 MPH speed limit enforced allowing safety for children on bikes and scooters. Street front location for easy access-even accommodates F350 dually. Outside hot and cold shower. Tile floors in kitchen, dining, den, and baths; carpet in bedrooms. Upper and lower covered decks. Satellite TV plus basic cable on 6 TVs including flat panel Samsung LCD in den. Intercom system for all three levels including parking. Beach, country store, snack bar with Wi-Fi, rec center, arcade, Olympic-sized swimming pool, kiddie pools/water park, indoor pool, miniature golf, 8 fishing lakes; all these activities are within 5 to 10 minutes walking--or rent a golf cart/bicycle if you wish.

"The house is so much more than a "vacation" spot. It's like being at home, everything you could possibly need is there." In October 2006 I made my first trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. It was an office trip, ladies only!
We stayed in G-8, there were 4 of us. The accommodations were impressive to say the least. The four of us had been let loose in a beach house big enough to sleep 16 - 3 hours away from our children & husbands- the weekend was ours! We spent quite a bit of time on the deck & beach enjoying the fresh air, it was October and a bit cool, but nice.
It was the weekend of Halloween and there were all types of events going on around us. Full time residents and visitors alike were decorating their homes/campers with Fall decorations, working on crafts & there was even a pie eating contest that night.
We started our day early Saturday morning with breakfast on the beach, then off to a game of putt putt, an hour or two @ the arcade & then very quickly our ages started to catch up with us and we had to stop. There was so much to do in the park for children and adults. We enjoyed some local restaurants and shopping during our visit.
The bulk of our time was spent relaxing in the house - in our little world away from all of life's responsibilities . The house is so much more than a "vacation" spot. It's like being at home, everything you could possibly need is there.
A washer/dryer is on the second level, a fully stocked kitchen & enough room for a family reunion. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a weekend get-a-way or even an extended vacation

In addition to the sheer beauty of the beach setting, the accommodations were just right! The beach house is perfect for a large group or a quiet romantic vacation with a loved one.
It was extremely a relaxing & serene atmosphere. In addition to the beautiful & spacious accommodations, the campground has wonderful facilities including a pool, miniature golf, multiple playgrounds & an arcade.
As well as being only a short walk to the sandy Myrtle Beach, it’s just short drive to the local attractions. I cannot wait to go back with my family and maybe even another girls’ weekend away.
